Hello
As the Pastor of the Eckville Community Church I would like to introduce my wife and myself. We are Brian and Nancy Stiles and we have been here in Eckville since July of 2021. For the last 25 years we have been in Alberta - serving churches in Meeting Creek, Delia and Dewberry. We love the smaller towns and rural areas. We have now moved up onto the hill overlooking Eckville by what was called the Last Hill Golf Course (now Alberta Views) where Nancy is able to have her horse with her. We look forward to getting to know many of you both in our community as well as those who join us for worship.

My Story
Nancy and I are both originally from Nova Scotia. A year after we were married, we moved to Manitoba to attend Providence Bible College and Seminary. At the time I was trying to understand the Bible better after having given my life to Christ in 1990. Neither Nancy nor I had any intentions of going into ministry at that time. Yet, through the affirmation of others and the Spirit's leading we entered ministry. First, we moved to Carman Manitoba where I worked at a Youth for Christ Youth Center as Director. In 1997 we made the move to Alberta and have enjoyed it very much (yes, I still miss the ocean - yet this is home, and we love it).
Nancy and I both have a heart for our community, and along with our church family, we plan to become much more active in the community. Nancy is currently working at the Eckville Lodge. Our son, Jordan, who is 26 lives with us and is working fulltime in the security field. We also have a daughter, Deanna who is 30 and is currently living in Edmonton attending Grant MacEwan University.
